Always Show Menus in Windows 7

Guest Blogger Aaron Wood

A feature I miss in Windows 7 that was in previous versions was the menu with “File, Edit, View, etc.” menu that hung around up at the top of each explorer window. I guess Microsoft didn’t want us to use it anymore.

Well, too bad, because today we’re bringin’ it back!

Just click Start, and in the Search Box type “ Folder Options”. Make sure you’re under the View tab, and under the Advanced Settings area, check “Always show Menus”. Click OK.

Now whenever you’re messin’ around in Windows Explorer you’ll notice it’s gone from this:

Iconic Bob Timberlake home up for sale

Bob Timberlake designed & built lake home for sale. Listed
with Sharon Giddens, Coldwell Banker Triad, Realtors.
What's Behind The Blue Door
of Real Estate?

The house designed and built by the American realist artist recently hit the Triad real estate market for $1.25 million.

Though Bob hasn’t lived in this High Rock Lake home in several years, the current owners continue to affectionately refer to the artistic masterpiece as “The Riverhouse,” which Bob named himself.

The home’s 2+ acres are connected to the 15,180 acre lake by two docks, so there is plenty to do on this outdoor canvas. Launch water craft and kids, fish or swim, or explore the wildlife.  The covered in-ground pool is a safe haven for burnt noses & the ‘aunt’ who doesn't swim in the lake. Enjoy stories & s'mores by the outdoor fireplace or relax in the hot tub. The adjoining studio is equipped with a 3rd kitchen & sleeping loft for overflow guests or the inspired artist!

That is just some of the outdoor fun. Take a look at the interior features and quality craftsmanship. Click here to go inside.
